I am a longterm student of gardening and cultivation. My two projects are my own back garden and my allotment. My name brownfingers is because unlike the fortunate greenfingered brethren, my plants dont thrive with me. Very often i am left with mud on my fingers, hence the name brown fingers.
I have recently started working on my allotment and am still figuring out what i want to do in my back garden. My motivation for an allotment was to be able to grow the not so common and/or costlier vegetables and herbs. Being a vegetarian, vegetables form a substantial portion of my diet and I love the very thought of cooking and eating something i have planted with my own hands and loving nurtured through pests, rains and seasons.
Wish me luck !!!
