14 Nov 2009Blooming...again. Dtps. Long Pride Fancy 'M-P0445'So this one is blooming again. It’s spike didn’t get very long this time & so far has only produced 5 buds, 2 of which are opened. This one has the sweetest scent and it really fills up the room.Sunny 16°C / 61°F

So this guy has finally bloomed for me! He is super cute….hope the blooms last for awhile. Still has one bud to open from same sheath, and another sheath about to break through the sheath with at least 2 buds in it. There is another sheath but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. ...

So about 2 weeks ago I installed a T5HO light to one of the shelves to support my cattleya’s through the winter. Seems to be doing a good job, got quite a few new growths since putting them under the light. Also have tons of Phals spiking.

My favorite phal is finally blooming!!! She put out 5 buds on her very first bloom..Not bad, next time I’m sure she’ll put on quite a show!

My oncidium hanging in the window i a wooden orchid basket somehow managed to get loose and fall. Landing directly on her. Damage wasn’t as bad as initially thought but still bad and sad.
