What a day yesterday was.
Started out overcast with gusty winds.
The sky went from grey to red then dark brown at about 3pm.
Wind gusts of 120km removed roofs & blew down trees.
Then there was the Rain or should I say mud.
Everything is now coated in red dust and needs washing.

20 Sep 2008UpdateWe have had strong winds during the last week. I lost 2 health kick tomato seedlings & 2 cherry tomato seedlings. Zucchinis are sprouting. Cucumbers are sprouting. 12 Sep 2008Chores DayIt was 28c (82f) here today. Not a cloud to be seen, Too good to waste. I mowed & edged 2 lawns, pulled weeds, gave back lawn a boost with Feed & Weed. Four days ago I decided to grow some Marigolds to deter the aphids. I planted 48 seeds in punnets & today I noticed 14 sprouts. The S...21°C / 70°F

It’s raining here today so the garden will be flourishing for the next few days.
With no gardening to do I thought I would mention my worm farm.
I have a home made worm farm that works.
I went to the green grocers and asked for 2 styrene foam boxes and 1 lid.

Being early in season they are very small.
Gave them a good soaking in Charlie Carp day before planting out.

The beds were weeded, turned & raked to even out soil.
Aged chicken & pigeon manure was spread & raked in.
Seedlings given extra space from the recommended allowances.
In most of the garden I have a watering system of 13mm pope dripper line with drippers 300mm (12 inches) apart.
