Things are springing to life and lots of iris blooms and spring bulbs blooming already. Iris season started the week before Easter with the standard dwarf starting the show. This little guy keeps on going. After doing a bit more online research I do think this is the correctly named iris. Descriptions call it “Very pale lavender, Falls are red purple white wire rim darker spot around purple violet beard”. That seems to describe this little guy to a T.Sunny -

Overcast 25°C / 77°FDespite heavy, near-constant rain the last 3 days, Honey Glazed started to open yesterday. This afternoon the rain rolled away and the sun attempted to shine so I trudged out through the soppy ground in the backyard to capture a photo of my first Intermediate Bearded iris in bloom.
