summer vacation gardening

Eating carrots from my garden! Carrots trials year two and Balcony Mediterranean garden
Sunny 17°C / 63°FThis week I’ve been hàppy to pick a few carrots from the garden. The ones which survived the winter have grown strong, Nantaise is a good variety for planters. they grow straight and are crisp and sweet. I’ve been eating them raw. Too good, fresh to cook these!

Plant re-rganization, transplanting, grouping Balcony Mediterranean garden
Today, as well as sowing sweet peas, leaf lettuce and a hummingbird mix of flower seeds, I tackled the organization of my plantings which have really gotten gotten out of hand since last Fall. I pruned the Madagascar jasmine so I could move it to the corner planter backed by a trellis on the wall...Sunny 22°C / 72°F -
